How these tools work
- Deterministic. The same input always gives the same result. There are no AI-generated verdicts and no hidden scoring.
- Private by default. Pasted files, HTML and AI answers are analysed in your browser, or on our server without being stored. Usage is counted as anonymous events such as "a check was run"; what you enter is never sent to analytics.
- Findings apart from advice. Each result separates what was observed in your input from editorial recommendations, and links to the operator or standard behind a rule.
- No promises about AI answers. Passing a check does not mean ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Google will mention or cite a site. Only measuring real answers over time can show that.
When a one-off check is not enough
PromptMentions monitors how AI assistants answer your clients' buyer questions through official APIs, keeps every answer as evidence with its provider, model, prompt set, locale, time and sample size, and turns gaps into tasks, reviewed content and client reports.
