AI answer brand mention and citation analyser
Paste an answer from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini or any assistant, name your brand and competitors, and see who is mentioned, in what order, in which sentence, and which links and citation markers the answer contains. The analysis runs in your browser on the text you supply.
What it reads
Names and aliases are matched as whole words, ignoring case. For each brand the tool reports the number of mentions, the order of first mention among the brands that appear, the position in a numbered or bulleted list, the sentence around each mention, and any link to the brand's domain. It also lists every URL and bare domain, citation markers such as [1] or 【3】, a Sources section, and quoted passages.
Add aliases and a domain after a bar: Northwind Ledger | Northwind, northwindledger.com.
One answer is not a measurement
The same question can get a different answer on the next run, from another model, in another country, or when the person is signed in. An analysis of one pasted answer describes that answer only. Mention and citation rates need many answers to the same questions over time, with failed answers left out of the count.
Limitations
- It analyses only the text you paste and cannot confirm which assistant, model, date or location produced it.
- Matching is literal: misspellings, possessives in other languages and products named without the brand are missed; a brand name that is also a common word can over-match.
- It does not judge sentiment or accuracy. Read the highlighted sentences.
- Links in the pasted text are listed, not visited. A citation marker is reported only when its pattern appears in the text.
Questions
Does this check ChatGPT for my brand?
No. It analyses an answer you paste. To see what an assistant says, ask it, or monitor a set of questions over time.
Why does order of mention matter?
Readers often act on the first options an answer lists, and many answers are lists. Order is one observation, not a ranking; it changes between runs.
What counts as a citation?
A link or domain in the text, or a marker such as [1] that the interface uses to point at a source. Interfaces show sources differently, and copied text may drop them.
Is the answer I paste stored?
No. It never leaves your browser. Usage counts record only that an analysis ran.
